CPO declines for second consecutive day

The prices of crude palm oil declined for the second consecutive day on Friday after the traders and speculators offloaded the positions in the agri commodity as the demand dropped at the spot market. At the MCX, Crude Palm Oil future for May 2014 contract traded at Rs. 547.20 per 10 kg, down by 0.22 per cent after opening at Rs. 547.50 against the previous close of Rs. 548.40. It touched the intra-day low of Rs. 542.00 till the trading. (At 02.56 PM today)
