Mid Market-Sensex extend gains, Tata Comm. Up 4%

Indian benchmark indices extend its rally taking BSE SENSEX was to 24285.84 up by 164.1 points or by 0.68 per cent and NSE Nifty to 7241.75 up by 38.75 points or by 0.54 per cent.
Shares of Tata Communications rose over 4 percent intraday as it is selling its South African telecom unit Neotel. Vodafone-owned Vodacom has agreed to buy South Africa’s internet-provider Neotel for ZAR 7 billion (South African rand).
The BSE MIDCAP was at 7960.1 up by 194.38 points or by 2.5 per cent, while the BSE SMLCAP was at 8192.58 up by 306.82 points or by 3.89 per cent. Sensex Watch
