India, Japan welcome enhanced ICT cooperation

One of the biggest news that came out of Modi-Abe meet was for the Indian IT industry after both agreed to enhance the cooperation in the sector during their talks in Japan earlier on Monday.
As per the media report, both India and Japan welcomed further progress in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) cooperation through activities of the Joint Working Group under India-Japan ICT Comprehensive Cooperation Framework between the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of India and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan.
PM Narendra Modi was on a 3-day visit to Japan which concluded on September 3.
