RBI cancels certificate of registration of 5 NBFCs

The Reserve Bank of India on Tuesday said it has cancelled the certificate of registration of five non-banking financial companies. The central bank, however, did not disclose the reason for action.
The five NBFCs whose certificate of registration has been cancelled includes, Unichem Finance & Enterprises Private Limited, Shree Bhagwati Marketing Private Limited, Sureka Teknik Private Limited, Dintara Mercantile Private Limited, Kolkata (Presently Royal Fintrade Private Limited), and Shimansu Vyaparik Kendra Ltd.
Following cancellation of registration certificate, the company cannot transact the business of non-banking financial institution, RBI said in a press release.
