No Shortage of Petroleum Products, says Petroleum

The Minister of State for Petroleum & Natural Gas Dharamendra Pradhan cleared speculation regarding shortage of petroleum products in the country by saying that there is no shortage of petroleum products is envisaged due to the present internal crisis in Iraq.
“No shortage of petroleum products is envisaged due to the present internal crisis in Iraq,” the Minister of State for Petroleum & Natural Gas Dharamendra Pradhan on Monday informed the Lok Sabha in a written reply.
He also said that to ensure energy security for India, the oil companies are continuously engaged in diversifying their crude basket to eliminate dependence on any particular country or region.
