Jet Airways slumps over 6% on loss in Q4

Shares of Jet Airways fell over 6 per cent in early trade on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) after the private airline major reported its highest ever consolidated loss of Rs 2,465 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2013. The shares of company fell as much as 6.06 per cent to trade at Rs 251.90 a piece on the BSE. In a similar fashion, shares of the company fell 6.42 per cent to Rs 251.40 a piece on National Stock Exchange. Meanwhile, the broader benchmark Sensex was quoting at 24,546.88, down 2.63 points or 0.01 per cent at 10.45 hours.
