* CAIRN INDIA: BHARAT PETROLEUM CORP AND HINDUSTAN PETROLEUM
CORP have shown interest in buying crude oil from the company.
* CENTURY TEXTILES AND INDUSTRIES: Shareholders have approved a
preferential issue of 18.6 mln convertible warrants to four companies owned by Kumar
Mangalam Birla and his family.
* CHL: RBI said shareholding of non-resident Indians and persons of Indian origin in
company under the Portfolio Investment Scheme had reached the trigger limit of 8%.
* CROMPTON GREAVES: Has secured an order worth 2.44 bln rupees from Spanish
