Market remains directionless; Bharti Airtel, ONGC

Equity benchmarks remained directionless during the noon trading session as investors remained cautious ahead of budget session and F&O June expiry tomorrow. The major laggards on the D-street included Bharti Airtel, ONGC, ICICI Bank, ITC, SSLT and LNT among others.
At 1:19PM BSE SENSEX was at 25320.11 down by 48.79 points or by 0.19, per cent, while the NSE Nifty was at 7566.3, down by 13.9 points or by 0.18 per cent.
The BSE MIDCAP was at 9198.07, up by 36.89 points or by 0.4 per cent, while the BSE SMLCAP was at 10014.04, up by 36.33 points or by 0.36 per cent.
The BSE Sensex touched an intraday high of 25427.8 and an intraday low of 25306.42, while the NSE Nifty touched an intraday high of 7589.25 and an intraday low of 7564.05. The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Bajaj Auto Ltd. (Rs. 2268.10,+2.14%), Coal India Ltd. (Rs. 398.45,+1.75%), GAIL (India) Ltd. (Rs. 465.00,+1.16%), Tata Power Company Ltd. (Rs. 104.70,+0.96%), Tata Motors Ltd. (Rs. 446.10,+0.89%), among others.
The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Bharti Airtel Ltd. (Rs. 333.45,-2.20%), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (Rs. 437.00,-1.39%), ICICI Bank Ltd. (Rs. 1419.45,-1.33%), ITC Ltd. (Rs. 316.50,-1.22%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (Rs. 1655.35,-0.89%), among others.
Among the sectors, In BSE, BSE_CDS index was at 8724.17 up by 106.39 points or by 1.23%. Blue Star Ltd. (Rs. 284.30,+1.68%), Titan Company Ltd. (Rs. 342.80,+1.53%), Rajesh Exports Ltd. (Rs. 192.60,+1.24%), VIP Industries Ltd. (Rs. 109.75,+0.83%), Bajaj Electricals Ltd. (Rs. 335.70,+0.75%),.
