RBI cancels registration certificate of Sahiwal Investment

The Reserve Bank of India has cancelled the registration certificate of Sahiwal Investment and Trading Company for carrying on the business of non-banking financial institution. “The Reserve Bank of India has cancelled the certificate of registration of the following non-banking financial company (NBFCs) for carrying on the business of non-banking financial institution,” RBI said in a press release. Following cancellation of registration certificate, the company cannot transact the business of non-banking financial institution.
