* ATUL AUTO Board, to consider stock split on Jun 26.
* APOLLO TYRES: Has allotted 5 mln equity shares to a promoter group
entity at 86.20 rupees per share.
* BAJAJ AUTO: The company will begin retail sales of its quadricycle
by
October.
* CAIRN INDIA: The company will invest $200 mln over the next three
years in developing natural gas finds in the largely oil-bearing
Rajasthan block.
* CENTURY TEXTILES AND INDUSTRIES: Has allotted 18.6 mln warrants at
354.89 rupees a share to promoters.
* COAL INDIA: The coal ministry wants the company to sell crushed and
washed coal only; will look into environmental issues hampering
production.
 The coal ministry has made it clear that the government has no
plans to restructure or break-up the company.
* FUTURE CONSUMER ENTERPRISE: Board has approved buying 35% stake in
Sarjena Foods that sells branded bakery products under the 'Baker
Street' brand.
* ICICI BANK: Non-executive Chairman K.V. Kamath sold 100,000 shares
of the bank worth 141.2 mln rupees Thursday.
* IDEA CELLULAR: The company launched another device for 4,999 rupees
which comes bundled with data benefits thus expanding its portfolio
of 3G smartphones to 16.
* INDIABULLS REAL ESTATE: The company has paid 15.50 bln rupees for a
commercial property in London's Mayfair and plans to convert the
building into luxury residentialproperty
* INDIAN HOTELS CO: To approve the terms and conditions of the
compulsorily convertible debentures Jun 24.
* JSW STEEL: Sajjan Jindal, chairman, met executives of Lucchini spA
in
Italy, moving a step closer to a possible buyout of the troubled
company.* L&T FINANCE HOLDINGS: Plans to raise 5 bln rupees through private
placement of cumulative non-convertible compulsorily redeemable
preference shares.
* MAHINDRA & MAHINDRA FINANCIAL SERVICES: Has received approval from
its shareholders to increase its borrowing limit to 450 bln rupees.
* MANDHANA INDUSTRIES: Company will consider raising funds via
equity, debt on Monday.
* NESTLE INDIA: The company is revamping coffee brand Nescafe with
new
packaging and a fresh advertisement theme.
* OIL INDIA: Signed a memorandum of understanding today with the
Gazprom EP International BV subsidiary of Russian oil and gas major
Gazprom.
* ORCHID CHEMICALS AND PHARMACEUTICALS: Has received approval from
the US Food and Drug Administration for the generic version of
Sunovion's
anti-insomnia pill Lunesta
* SESA STERLITE: The disinvestment department today invited bids for
valuers for determining fair value of BALCO, in which Vedanta owns
51% stake.
* STEEL AUTHOTITY OF INDIA: The government's forest advisory
committee has issued a warning over the possibility of forest land
being diverted for non-forest purposes in the company's 5.5 mln tonne
per annum Bolani iron ore mines in Odisha.
* SUN PHARMACEUTICALS: The company's deal to acquire RANBAXY
LABORATORIES might take longer than usual to secure all regulatory
clearances for their proposed merger.
 The company is the latest Indian drug company to have been sued by
London-based AstraZeneca for alleged infringement of patents relating
to its diabetes drug, Onglyza.
* TVS MOTOR CO: Has launched its StaR HLX 125 motorcycle in Tanzania.
* TATA MOTORS: Arm Jaguar Land Rover Plc has invested200 mln pound
sterling in its Halewood plant in the UK.
* UNITED SPIRITS: Diageo's offer for the company is understood to
have
received an overwhelming response with 69.9 mln shares tendered
against the required 37.7 mln shares.
* UPL: Has sold its entire 50% stake in its Brazil joint venture -
Sipcam UPL Brazil S.A.
* WOCKHARDT: The company, currently facing several import bans and a
substantial drop in sales, has completed a revamp of its critical
departments of production, quality and drug regulatory affairs.
